Neal Communities, a highly reputable home builder in southwest Florida, is a recognized leader in responsible land development and a pioneer in creating communities that preserve, protect and enhance the natural environment.

Neal Communities requested that The BLUE New Media Team create a website which would accomplish the following goals:

• LOOK AND FEEL: Provide an attractive website with focus on the natural Florida environment

• FIND A HOME: Provide a comprehensive tour of homes and communities and allow the viewer to easily find a home that suits their lifestyle.
• AWARDS, NEWS / PRESS and COMMUNITY INVESTMENT: Keep the visitor up-to-date with happenings at Neal Communities
• SCALABILITY: Include a high level of scaleability to accommodate future growth of the website and the company
• CONTENT MANAGEMENT: Allow Neal Communities to manage the database, adding photos, text and pages to the website.

Red Moon Solutions

Client: Red Moon Solutions is a tax technology company founded by the former CIO of Arthur Andersen. Red Moon offers a suite of tax technology solutions to Fortune 500 companies, smaller businesses and Big Four Accounting firms alike. The company’s logo, color scheme and tagline were not congruent with the trait that elevated them away from their competition: amazing customer service.

Approach: Blue re-designed Red Moon’s previous website to reflect the new logo and brand identity, as well as promote new incentives that the company was offering. The website was re-designed to exemplify the new customer-focused message that embodies the culture of Red Moon Solutions. The change in messaging continued into the color palette used, which is vibrant yet professional as opposed to Red Moon Solutions’ previously darker, more muted palette.

Sarasota Paint Company

Sarasota Paint Company is Sarasota’s only Benjamin Moore supplier and has been serving both Sarasota and Manatee counties for nearly 25 years. Sarasota Paint asked Blue to change their current website to express their business in a better way.

Approach: Blue created a new website for Sarasota Paint that embodied the fresh look their product provides, while still maintaining the company’s professionalism throughout the site. Blue updated the site to be colorful, current and highly informative to multiple demographics, as the company provides products to both professional house painters and individuals.

Client: Pat Neal is a recognized leader in responsible land development and a pioneer in creating communities that preserve, protect and enhance the natural environment. Owner of Neal Communities, he has a portfolio of more than 7,600 single-family residences and numerous commercial properties, shopping centers and apartment communities.  

Approach: Blue designed the Pat Neal website in order to showcase the leadership traits and values Pat Neal continually employs in his efforts to build and nurture strong, successful communities. Blue developed a tagline which encompassed Pat Neal's values and brand identity. Client: A pharmaceutical corporation focused on quality, reliable products and provision of medicine to those who need it.

Approach: Blue designed a website that spoke to the multiple audiences WellSpring wanted to reach while staying true to the WellSpring brand. Focusing on establishing a welcoming, approachable feel to the website, Blue wrote the content for the website, furthering the brand consistency and company voice.

ALSO Out Youth

Client: Not-For-Profit support, educational, outreach and advocacy organization providing community and outreach services for GLBTQ youths in the Sarasota area and beyond. 

Approach: Create a website and e-newsletter that is visually appealing to the youth ALSO serves while appearing professional in nature. Blue provided a complete solution that speaks to the professional, yet personal nature of ALSO. A content management system was put in place allowing the client to update their website themselves.

Yellow Strawberry Global Hair Salon

Client: Yellow Strawberry is a contemporary hair salon with locations in Lakewood Ranch and Sarasota, Florida. The salon has multiple locations and recently launched its own line of hair care products.   

Approach: Yellow Strawberry asked Blue to create a web site which would appropriately project their corporate image, display their extensive product offerings, describe their salon services, offer information in careers at the salon, and permit online booking and newsletter signup. Blue designed the Yellow Strawberry website to be intuitive and highly informative; which included adding online appointment booking capabilities for multiple locations. Additionally, content management tools, training and guidelines were delivered, which have enabled Yellow Strawberry Global Hair Salon to easily maintain and administer their website themselves.

The Boys and Girls Clubs of Manatee County

Client: The Boys and Girls Clubs of Manatee County serves over 2,500 children at 5 locations in Manatee County, Florida. Their Clubs are open after-school and during the summer. Their programs focus on character and leadership development, sports, fitness and recreation, education and career development, the arts and health and life skills. 

Approach: The Boys and Girls Clubs of Manatee County asked Blue to create a web site that would project a friendly, welcoming image and provide comprehensive information to their target audience. Blue created a website with a child-centered focus, making use of bright bold colors. The site is easily navigated and is also and highly scalable to accommodate future growth. Blue additionally provided content management tools, training and guidelines for site usage, which allowed The Boys and Girls Clubs of Manatee County to administer their website themselves.

Client: Clayton Law Firm is a leading civil law firm on the Central West Coast of Florida concentrated on the representation of investors who have disputes with brokerage firms and issuers of securities. The firm is also engaged in business and estate-related litigation and arbitration.

Approach: Clayton Law asked that Blue create a site that was primarily informational for potential clients and other attorneys that exemplified the Florida West Coast lifestyle while explaining the firm’s services. Blue provided a site that created a Floridian ambiance while maintaining the site’s professional and informational standards.

Client: A not-for-profit organization created to prevent and reduce homelessness through the collaboration between civic leaders and other provider agencies.

Approach: Blue created a website layout that served as a reminder of the seriousness of homelessness while providing a feeling of hope and optimism. Cure 4 Diabetes

Client: The Cure 4 Diabetes Foundation is a non-profit organization founded by the Menke family in Sarasota, Florida. Their goal is to raise money and research for a cure for Type I and Type II diabetes. 

Approach: The Cure 4 Diabetes Foundation asked Blue to create a website that encompassed their compassion for those with diabetes, as well as the work they support to find a cure for the disease. Blue provided a site that not only raises awareness of the disease, but also presents opportunities to be a part of finding a cure. The Blue Team provided a complete solution encompassing website design, information architecture, templates and design standards. Client: Design Scapes, Inc. of Sarasota, Florida is a full service landscape design/build firm, servicing both residential and commercial customers in the Gulf Coast Area of Florida, including Ft. Myers - Tampa. Their 20 years of commitment to excellence have afforded them the honor of being delegated the Sarasota area’s #1 Landscape Company for four consecutive years.  

Approach: Design Scapes Inc. requested that Blue create a web site that is visually rich and graphically oriented. In addition, Blue was asked to create several photo galleries to further showcase their work. Client: Glaxal Base™ is an over-the-counter products from WellSpring Pharmaceutical Corporation in preparation for a United States launch. 

Approach: The website was created to introduce and position Glaxal Base™ products as a line of premiere lotions created to moisturize dry skin, heal damaged skin and prevent future skin irritation. Blue created a website that invoked a relaxed, spa-like environment to emulate the feel of the product. Client: Sarasota Housing Authority is a HUD run subsidized housing program serving the needs of the Sarasota community. They work closely with Habitat for Humanity and other organizations toward the goal of ensuring affordable and clean living conditions for all with a need.

Approach: Blue gave Sarasota Housing Authority (SHA) a long-overdue web presence while providing the community information about the SHA and their programs.
